NatWest has announced the five FinTechs selected for its first FinTech Growth Programme, an initiative designed to support early-stage startups in scaling their businesses. Following a competitive selection process, TunicPay, Ask Silver, mmob, Aperidata, and Sprive will now have the opportunity to collaborate with NatWest’s Innovation team, senior decision-makers, and industry experts over the next ten weeks.

The programme focuses on fostering innovation in the payments space, with participating FinTechs offering solutions that enhance security, improve financial inclusion, and streamline embedded finance. By working closely with NatWest, these startups gain access to mentorship, a curated scale-up curriculum, and networking opportunities that could help shape the future of digital banking.

🇪🇸 Leading Spanish bank Ibercaja partners with Mambu. With Mambu's composable API-first platform and extensive partner ecosystem, the bank aims to reach 200,000 new customers within five years and later deliver future-ready, sustainable financial solutions to its existing customers. 

🇺🇸 Digital Bank Varo Bank aims to raise $55 Million. The funding round is part of a Series G offering of preferred shares, not voting common stock and warrants to acquire more common shares. Varo offers savings and credit services. It also includes cards, ATM access, early pay, and other features while touting its “no hidden fees” promise.
