Nubank Rolls Out Split Bill Feature

Hey Digital Banking Fanatic!
Neobanks in Europe, like Revolut and N26, have long offered features that simplify expense sharing. Now, Nubank is bringing a similar convenience to its customers with Boleto Compartilhado, a new tool that allows users to split bank payment slips (boletos) directly within their digital accounts.
With the feature now rolling out, users can share a boleto through the Payment Assistant in just a few taps. The recipient gets notified instantly, reviews the details, and can choose to cover their part using either a shared balance or their individual account. The process is designed to be seamless, keeping everything within Nubank’s ecosystem.
“At Nubank, we are always looking for ways to innovate and simplify our customers' lives, making financial management easier and more accessible. Boleto Compartilhado is another step in this direction, and offers a practical and efficient solution to support people in their day-to-day tasks,” says Arthur Valadão, Nubank's VP & General Manager of Insurance, Marketplace, NuPay and SMB Acquiring.
By digitizing and streamlining bill sharing, Nubank continues to expand its suite of payment solutions, reinforcing its focus on everyday financial convenience.
